I worked construction for many years. It’s good, honest work, but it’ll break you down. It’s hard, and if you don’t feel like working there is always someone willing to step in and take your job.
When you walk onto a construction site it’s a total crapshoot what you’ll find going on. Depends on the foreman, really. It rages from looking like a well-swept showroom to what OSHA calls a “liability hellscape.”
