Your first paycheck is a big deal. The responsible thing to do with it is to save it, or spend on something you need, but where’s the fun in that? It’s a time for celebration if you ask me. Back when I got my first job bagging groceries, I spent my first paycheck on a nice pair of shoes. That may sound lame, but it was so rewarding to go to a shoe store that wasn’t Payless. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but you get it.
