I was going through some old family photo albums recently and many of my grandparents’ photos looked classy. They were in fancy dresses and suits. They’d go to the movies dressed like they were going to prom. That’s just how it was in those days.
Nowadays, you can’t go to the store without seeing someone in their pajamas. In some ways, I’m glad it’s socially acceptable to wear what makes you comfortable in public. Why should I put on a belt just because I have to run to the store? I’m not above wearing pajamas in public, but when I see someone else dressed like they just hopped out of bed, I get it.
I say wear what makes you feel comfortable. Adam Sandler is worth $100 Million and he wears gym sweatpants on the Tonight Show. Why can’t I run to the liquor store in my pajamas? At least I’m wearing pants this time. Here’s what other people are saying about it in this thread.
Why is everyone so oddly judgmental of people wearing pajamas in public?
