People Are Sharing The Moment They Walked Out On A Job (21 Tweets)

We’ve all had jobs we hate at one point or another, but how many times have you walked out on a job? I can’t say that I have, but I remember having coworkers just stop showing up with no explanation. As much as I hated when they did that, I understood it.

Comedian Alissa May Atkinson was moving patio furniture while working a restaurant job that paid $2.63/hr when a coworker decided to walk out. I’m willing to bet that employees wouldn’t mind moving some patio furniture for a fair untipped wage.

Alissa’s tweet sparked a thread of stories people have about themselves or a coworker who also walked out on the job and some of these stories are epic. Sometimes a 2-week notice isn’t necessary.
