Since the beginning of time women can’t go to a bar (or anywhere) without dealing with some guy’s poor attempt at starting a conversation. Every woman has a story about a guy offering to buy them a drink, but how often does the guy just buy the drink and leave them alone? I’m guessing it will happen a lot more after this viral tweet.
Radio host Maggie Fischer was journaling alone at a bar when some guy bought her a glass of whiskey, complimented her, and went about his day. She tweeted the story and it inspired other women to share random acts of kindness from guys and it’s just the type of wholesome thing we like to see.
This proves that authentic kindness goes a long way and is rarely forgotten. Let’s keep being kind to each other.
