Life was wildly different in the 90s and before (though, technically cell phones did exist, even if only rich Wall St. douches had them.)
The point is, life without phones is hard to imagine it if you never lived it. I doubt most people today could leave their cell phones at home and walk across the street without having a full panic attack.
Folks on Twitter are reflecting on a simpler time.
