Teaching isn’t a completely thankless job, but it’s not as thanked as maybe it should be.

You hear people say teachers don’t get paid enough to do what they do, (and I agree), but often the pushback on giving them more credit is fueled by ignorance of how many teachers go above and beyond to help kids prepare for being functional members of society.

These kind souls who went above and beyond for their students will make you rethink your attitude toward teacher compensation while also probably making you cry a little.
