Electricity has come a long way since the early 1900s. In the early days of electricity, safety was a big concern. Well, it still is and should be, but I think we’re much safer nowadays than people were in the 1930s.
If you don’t believe me, look at this public safety poster one Twitter user (EclecticHams) discovered. People shared others they found in the thread, and they’re kind of hilarious in hindsight.
