We seem like were’ headed towards or are currently living in dystopian America (and maybe the whole world?).
But here’s the thing about this dystopian hellscape — it’s not even a fun one with zombies or mutated talking animals. Just a boring dystopia with ads popping up in our faces everywhere we go, or Jersey Shore cast members are asked to comment on inflation, or the following 40+ real-life instances of this theory, where social problems intertwine and all that jazz, just head over to the sub-Reddit called ‘A Boring Dystopia.’ They’re all about sharing pictures that seem totally innocent but are actually pretty messed up.
And after you’re done getting angry at this post, take a look at our earlier compilations full of dystopian madness right here, here, and here.
1. “Software update failure? Better walk son”
2.
3. It went so far it doesn’t seem real anymore… But it is.
14. Over 2,000 pounds of fresh pork being rejected by the walmart distribution center because the sell by dates occur when their stores are closed for Thanksgiving. This product will still be safe to eat for the next 15 days but they won’t even attempt to sell. This will end up in a dumpster today.
21. My local small town grocery store is running out of food. Their main supplier shut down deliveries, due to a Covid outbreak among their whole workforce. My town is in trouble.
55. We make “too much” to qualify for free text books, so my kindergarten daughter’s PUBLIC SCHOOL is threatening to send us to collections and impose court and legal fees if we don’t pay for text books
