Kamila Valieva, a 16-year-old Russian Olympic figure skater, won the silver medal at the 2023 Russian Figure Skating Championships last week.
However, it was her Wednesday Addams-themed routine that gained widespread attention online. Valieva skated to the theme song of the Netflix series while dressed as Wednesday Addams, complete with hair and makeup. She was accompanied by her hand sidekick Thing outside the rink.
Upon entering the rink, Valieva skated to The Cramps’ song “Goo Goo Muck,” performing Jenna Ortega’s choreography from the school dance scene in episode four of Wednesday.
After all the sad news yesterday, this provided a lovely respite last night.

Near the end of her routine, Valieva changed the music to Lady Gaga’s “Bloody Mary,” which has been used in TikTok videos of the Wednesday dance.
