Cat adoption stories are some of the most wholesome content on the internet. Something about an insane looking cat found under a dumpster named “sh*t gremlin” or something then gets scooped up my a family, finding love for the first time. Beautiful.
If these cats can find love, there’s hope for us all.
So, even if you don’t want a cat, or are allergic, you can enjoy these wonderful stories of folks who adopted a new fury friend.

1. Isis (like the egyptian goddess, not the other thing), I adopted her as a kitten when I was twelve, she’s now seventeen. An old lady who was my greatest companion when I was growing up. I cannot express how much she means to me.

3. This is Momma…She was a pregnant neighborhood stray who’d had at least 3 litters of kittens. She lived in sub zero winters and took months to build trust in. We found her kittens homes and adopted her and one of her offspring. She is spayed and very happy and appreciative

10. This cat showed up outside my house, pregnant. I caught her and brought her to the Humane Society so her and the babies would be safe (lots of loose dogs and coyotes in my neighborhood) She had her babies and went up for adoption, so I went back and adopted her. We call her little mama.
