Dave Grohl is one of the few celebrities you never hear anything bad about. Whenever his name shows up in the news, it’s usually because he’s doing something wholesome like inviting a kid to sing on stage or something.
Most recently, he showed up at Hope Mission in LA and threw a BBQ for 500 people. He paid for everything and even provided the smoker. What’s even better? He didn’t tell anyone; he just did it because he’s a good dude.
Here are some Dave Grohl appreciation tweets that prove my point.

We don’t deserve Dave Grohl. Dude has lost two best friends from two bands. No one would blame him for being bitter and shutting out the world. Instead, he goes out and tries to make the world a better place for the people who need it most. Legend https://t.co/UDIcIs8LVR

Protect Dave Grohl at all cost and wrap him in bubblewrap, but leave holes for his breathing, seeing and let him eat…one of the friendlier celebs out there. pic.twitter.com/bKw6wclDrz

Member of the homophobic, ultra-conservative, Westboro Baptist Church in KS were holding a protest of the upcoming Foo Fighters concert (devil’s music), so Dave Grohl decided to roll out an epic troll by singing, “You Should be Dancin” to them the bed of a truck. pic.twitter.com/ioFTEGa7RR

In light of the tragic Astroworld deaths, here's a clip of Dave Grohl stopping a Foo Fighters show in its tracks to help out an autistic child in the crowd. Take note, performers – you often see things security cannot. Look out for your fans. pic.twitter.com/Fq6CMUDnGN

I worked for him when he lived in Seattle! Nicest guy and so down to earth. Tried to spook me at the front door a couple of times followed by a grin and laugh 😂

Dave Grohl arrived at the red carpet of the 2021 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame wearing the same leather jacket he wore in the 1991 Nirvana photo. pic.twitter.com/QaKLupFXX8

One of the best, warmest, most caring people on the planet. I met Dave at a local Maryland Crab restaurant. I don't typically bother people, but in such an intimate setting, I went to him and told him I might be his oldest fan! He was gracious. pic.twitter.com/EDxFNSuHpp
