I wanted to celebrate my generation with some Gen X memes. We had pretty much no technology as kids and then learned and adapted with it into adulthood. We know how to be bored, like boomers, and we know how to use tech, like Millennials. All of the strengths, none of the weaknesses. Basically, we’re like Blade. (we also gave you Blade)
Also, we were raised by people who were raised by people who were basically savages, so everything considered we’re doing pretty great.
Gen X has seen and done a lot of sh*t, but above all else, we gave birth to the meme. Millennials perfected the meme, but Gen X created it. (Please just let us have this)
I like 90s memes because so much has changed. I actually have to younger generations what they mean. My neighbor laughed for 5 minutes when I showed him how older cars had hand cranks for the windows.
