A post on Reddit is motivating numerous individuals with difficult bosses and jobs, showcasing a text exchange between an employee and their supervisor. The manager received a strong response after criticizing the employee for sitting on a stool during most of their shift, labeling it as “entirely inexcusable behavior.”
Unbeknownst to the boss, the reason for the employee sitting was due to a broken foot.
As expected, the worker’s response was somewhat confrontational. When the boss expressed dissatisfaction with the reply, they ended up with one fewer employee to control.
Unsurprisingly, the story was a hit with the AntiWork subreddit and also went viral on Twitter after being posted by user @BizarreLazar.
