As a server, the quest for the ultimate tip can feel like a never-ending challenge. With each shift comes the opportunity to provide exceptional service, create a welcoming atmosphere, and leave a lasting impression on your customers in hopes of a generous gratuity.
Or you can just be completely honest. That’s what Tiktok user Adamo (@yoitsadamo) said they do, and it seems to work great.
He says whenever a customer asks about an item he gives it the highest praise. “It’s my favorite. I get it all the time. You really should get it.” And then he gets about a 23% tip.
Even though he hates all the items on the menu. “I’ve never fucking eaten that before, and I’m never going to. … But it works every time.”
