If you’re not living in New York, or anywhere in the Northeast, it may be difficult to comprehend the apocalyptic sight that unfolded yesterday.
The city was engulfed in thick smoke from the ongoing Canadian wildfires, causing flights to be grounded, compelling people to remain indoors, and resulting in New York experiencing the world’s worst air quality. Not to mention the orange hue that covered the skyline.
As I scrolled through my Twitter feed, it was flooded with a multitude of memes and tweets centered around the wildfire smoke in New York. The situation was undeniably extraordinary. If you happen to be in one of the areas affected by the Canadian wildfires, please stay healthy and safe.
