Airbnb is infamous for its greedy hosts. While there might be some good hosts out there, based on what I’m seeing online, the negative experiences seem to outweigh the positive ones.
A complaint on Twitter surfaced from a dissatisfied Airbnb user regarding a previously mentioned greedy host. The host contacted @inreGray after the guest’s weeklong stay and shared a picture of a vacuum cleaner filled with dog hair.
Despite advertising the home as pet-friendly, the host claimed that due to its non-pet-friendly status, an additional cleaning fee would be imposed on the guest, contradicting the fact that the host’s listing clearly promotes the home as welcoming to pets.
