It seems that throughout history, the clash between generations has been a perennial source of debate, disagreement, and yes, even beef. From Baby Boomers to Gen X, Millennials to Gen Z, each cohort brings its unique perspectives, values, and experiences to the table. As a result, tensions arise, fueled by generational stereotypes and misunderstandings, creating a swirling vortex of intergenerational conflict.
Comedian Karen Morgan recently had a standup set go viral on this very subject. In her set, she summed up each of the generations, but her tired take on millennials is what really struck a nerve.

“Gen Z doesn’t know how to write a check. They don’t know how to address an envelope. They don’t know how to read cursive. They don’t know how to read a paper map. They can’t get anywhere unless there’s a GPS map on their phone,” she said. “All I’m saying is that if Gen Z takes over the world, it’s going to be pretty easy to get it back.”
