Striking WGA Writer Hilariously Uses His Day To Find The Restaurant With “Highest Number Of Brothers” And It Goes Higher Than You’d Think

In case you haven’t heard, Hollywood writers have been on strike for weeks as negotiations with studios have failed. The writers believe their proposals have been undervalued, while the studios’ counter offers have fallen short. The strike was authorized by an overwhelming 97.85 percent vote from the members of the Writers Guild of America.

As a result of the strike, writers now find themselves with a lot of free time, which they fill with picketing and various creative pursuits. One such writer is Dan Amira, the head writer for the Daily Show, who recently made a spontaneous decision to embark on a quest to find the restaurant with the highest number of brothers. And boy, does that number go higher than you’d expect. Here’s the delightful thread that Amira shared about his quest.
