There was a time when I thought “Hey we could totally home-school our kids and travel the world full-time.” Then I spent a single summer with them and well, that was out the door.
Not that I don’t appreciate the time with my kids, I truly do. But it’s pretty relentless and, as other parents will agree, it’s time for a little 9-month back-to-school break. And, of course, time for some funny parenting memes.
So as we bid farewell to summer, let’s have a moment of silence for all the lost beach toys, sunburns because your kid refused to stand still while you applied sunscreen, and “just 5 more minutes” negotiations at the pool.
