Oh, the sweet, jittery siren call of caffeinated alcohol is beckoning once again.
Dunkin’ Donuts, of all brands, has decided to plunge into the spirited chaos of boozy beverages. Because nothing says “balanced breakfast” quite like spiking your morning routine with a bit of liquid courage, am I right?
Remember Four Loko? That beverage that sent party-loving millennials into an existential tailspin? Well, Dunkin’, in collaboration with Boston’s Harpoon Brewery, is poised to raise—or more accurately, obliterate—that bar with its Spiked Dunkin’ range. Hard lemonade is so passé.
Now, we’re talking about a caffeine-infused alcohol apocalypse that’s about to let loose in Massachusetts, of all places. Why not? It’s 2023, and nothing makes sense anymore.
The new line of hard coffees and teas is definitely what a dystopian America runs on. I mean, it’s as if Dunkin’ looked at the chaos of modern living and said, “How can we make this more ‘Boston’?” And the answer, apparently, was spiked iced tea and coffee flavors.
