Enter the ‘Boring Dystopia’ subreddit, an online community that focuses on documenting how our current system is both dystopic and exceptionally uninteresting. If you’re unfamiliar with the term, it was coined by the late British scholar and cultural theorist, Mark Fisher. It describes the sense of discomfort caused by subtly coercive indications that thrive in a “late-stage capitalist society.”
