Labor Day — that end-of-summer holiday when we celebrate the achievements of workers by giving them one whole day off.
It’s like receiving a participation trophy for a marathon you didn’t sign up for but are forced to run every week. As we lurch back into the 9-to-5 (or let’s be honest, 8-to-6) grind after that glorious three-day weekend, you might be hit with the reality that you actually only have to suffer for four days this week. It’s not Christmas, but we’ll take it.
