Tod Pronto, the brilliant mind behind the funniest one-panel comics from “Midlife Thesis,” isn’t just an extraordinary cartoonist but also wears multiple creative hats. Many might recognize him from his other talents as a singer/songwriter. For others, stumbling upon his delightful “Midlife Thesis” comics or other cartoons online might be the introduction.
Tod’s passion for cartooning can be traced back to his formative years. He nostalgically recalls a time from his childhood when he was immensely inspired by iconic characters like Garfield, to the extent that he crafted his own character named “Fussy the Cat.” Even though it was a simple nod to his childhood favorites, it showed his early dreams of becoming an artist.
In school, he primarily spent his time in the art room refining his craft. And today, his works not only make us laugh but also stand as a testament to his dedication and dreams from yesteryears.
