Not everyone embraces the Christmas spirit, and it’s understandable if the holiday songs and festivities grow tiresome. However, deliberately dampening the joy of those who are enjoying the season is reminiscent of the Grinch.
While Christmas may have some kitschy aspects, it also brings a childlike sense of fun to even the most sensible adults. Some people go all out with extravagant Christmas decorations, and is that enthusiasm really such a terrible thing?
Unfortunately, in one neighborhood, a resident known as “Karen” had a disdain for Christmas, preferring it in small, uneventful doses, which didn’t sit well with the rest of the festive community.
