With the holiday season fully underway, I’m spending more time pretending to be busy than actually being busy.
There are supposed decorations to put up, gifts to buy, plans to make—but mostly I’m just avoiding all of it by looking at my phone. I literally only put lights on the tree this year. No ornaments, just lights. That’s enough for where I am in life and frankly, where I think most of us are in 2025.
But luckily for me it’s my job to find funny stuff on the internet, so “pretending to be busy” also has the benefit or surfacing funny pictures.
