Influencer Natalie Reynolds stirred up controversy with her recent social experiment at the gym, where she wore pants made of body paint, leading to a surprising confrontation with a man and igniting a widespread debate over suitable gym wear.
The 25-year-old influencer and Kick streamer, known for her often contentious antics, seems to have outdone herself this time.
During a livestream on December 27, Natalie embarked on what she described as a “social experiment,” opting to go to the gym in body paint instead of traditional workout clothes.
“So, I started getting this painted on me at 11:30 am and I got done at 4:15 pm. So, I’m sitting up for, like, five to six hours. It’s painted-on pants – so this is all paint. This is swimsuit bottoms.”
She then is confronted by a gym patron.
“If you don’t have clothes on, you need to be out of here, ma’am.”
She explained she did “technically” have clothes on. The man disagreed.
The influencer then took to Twitter to gain sympathy for the interaction.

She tried arguing that a male YouTuber did the same thing and it was fine, but only got hammered by the community notes and the comments.
so a guy youtuber makes a video just like this but when I paint myself everyone is acting like the world is ending. Let me get my gains and shredded in peace pls pic.twitter.com/4ytHIUT8mF
