40 New Buni Comics Where Cute Meets Funny And Dark Twists Abound

You’d think a comic featuring a bunny would be all sunshine and rainbows, but that’s not the case with this series by artist Ryan Pagelow. He’s the brains behind the hugely popular webcomic series “Buni.” Unlike what you might expect, the panels are usually wordless, banking on the setting, design, and visual humor to tickle your funny bone. Pagelow has a knack for throwing in twist endings that often land on the darker side of funny.

The star of the comic, Buni (yep, same name as the title, because why not?), is described by Pagelow as “a naive optimist with terrible luck.” Sounds like a spirit animal for most of us these days, right? If you find yourself chuckling at Buni’s misadventures, diving deeper into Ryan Pagelow’s work is a no-brainer. Trust me, it’s a rabbit hole worth tumbling down.

Nate Armbruster

When he's not doomscrolling Twitter or writing for Pleated-Jeans, Nate Armbruster writes jokes—and then tells them on stage as a stand-up comedian, where he can watch audiences (hopefully) laugh in real-time.
