As a mom who prides herself on modesty and independence, the idea of airing extravagant demands on Facebook is beyond my comprehension. Yet, there’s a Facebook Group where such entitled posts are not only common but celebrated. Here, single motherhood is flaunted as a ticket to endless freebies, ranging from laughably grandiose to outright absurd.

Join me in a bemused exploration of this audacity, a place where choosing beggars know no shame. For moms like me, it’s a bewildering, yet darkly humorous, spectacle.
