Chesca Hause, affectionately known as “Cat Mom” across the digital realm, may not claim the title of #1 MOM, but her humorous embrace of life’s imperfections has resonated with a vast audience. Her creation, Litterbox Comics, has garnered a following of a million across various platforms, drawing people who find joy in laughing at life’s chaotic moments together.
The genesis of Litterbox Comics four years ago was Hause’s own struggle with motherhood, finding solace and connection through depicting the absurdities of parental life. She built a community of understanding among moms, yet unexpectedly, her parenting comics also struck a chord with those without children.
While some of her comics are direct reflections of her personal experiences, Hause views the characters of the Cat Family as entities unto themselves, with hopes to continue chronicling their escapades even as her own children grow.
