We’ve all experienced it: that nagging feeling of annoyance and frustration caused by the little things in life.
Whether it’s the sound of someone loudly crunching their chips, the constant dinging of notifications, or the never-ending task list at work, these mildly infuriating things can quickly add up and cause stress.
No one knows this more than the folks in the popular subreddit “Mildly Infuriating.” Here are some of the most infuriating things that have happened to people this week,
1. “I was looking forward to having mini-muffins for breakfast this morning and this is what I found. He ate the top and left this for me.”
2. This person who parked right behind a delivery truck’s loading ramp.
3. This Tesla driver (need I say more?) blocking
5. “My supervisor at work decided to let me know his opinion on my purchase”
6. “This Uber driver accepted a ride and then sent this. Why accept it?”
7. “Went to visit my in-laws for a week. Also, I pay for a street parking pass”
“Did you know that paying for parking somewhere is cheaper than fixing four flat tires? Think about this next time you decide to dock your car [in] front of someone else’s building for a week.”
8. “Am I crazy or is this acceptable? We share a laundry room with the people upstairs (the laundry room is right outside our door) This pile of dirty clothes has been sitting there for 5 days, this is nothing new. My bf is making me feel like the crazy one for having a problem with it, Advice please?”
9. “When I went out to shut off the smoker and put the cover on, I come back to my wife having eaten all the skin.”
10. “Went to a Friendsgiving, they let their neighbor know ahead of time that they would be having people over, it was 4:45 pm on a Saturday and about 6 people were there at that point. He abruptly knocked on the door once, taped this note to the door, and ran off.”
The letter reads, “Hello. I am not sure why you would feel it is appropriate to have a 15+ person Friendsgiving in these apartments with the wall being as thin as they are. I am an attorney. I work early and late from home. I will not tolerate you having essentially a PARTY next door. I will not tolerate the noise. I have already informed police of your intention. If I hear you, I will call. We must all respect one another. Thanks.”
11. “Made an enemy on my first day of work”
12. “Ordered from Instacart for the first time and this is how the chicken came”
13. “Was planning on going to a concert, got replaced an hour before it started”
14. “Someone’s been leaving notes on my car at work, this is the most recent and in-depth one yet. Nope.”
The mildly infuriating letter reads, “Who am I…just some[one] who hopes [this] brightens your day by reminding you of how beautiful you are. Who am I…I am the one who wonders if I would ever be so lucky….Who am I…I am the one that daydreams about you a little more than I should. Who am I…probably a little more broken than others…Who am I…I am probably someone who doesn’t deserve your precious time…Who am I…I am the one that would disappoint you if you knew who I was…”
15. “My roommate thinks I should pay for things I had no idea they were buying.”
16. “Left on my sister’s windshield… who is from Asheville, but has South Carolina plates… Stay classy Asheville.”
17. “What is wrong with people? Open your own mail”
18. “Because I work all day and can control where the wind blows. Was mailed to me (probably by my neighbor’s wife), envelope postmarked the next town over.”
The mildly infuriating letter reads, “Dear neighbor, I drove by your house today, and then by your neighbors — The Wilsons. I saw that poor old man, who I believe is 85 years old, working most of the day cleaning up leaves. He has worked other days too cleaning up his leaves. I couldn’t help but notice that you are allowing the leaves from your yard to blow over on his yard. Shame on YOU!!!!”
19. “My Uber drivers response after asking him why he was sitting in the same spot”
20. “Person I share a bathroom with whom shall remain unnamed”
21. “Sure, I’ll just hand over my painstaking work for free. Need help with a response.”

The original form reads, “Dear neighbors, Have you been disrupted by the children taking over the apartment lawns, parking lots, and the screaming and yelling? Please sign this petition. We need to speak out to make the change!”
23. “Roommate crashed my car while borrowing it to go to work then refuses to pay anything unless I let her continue to drive it in the future”
