In turn, you’ve probably noticed many people claim it’s because “nobody wants to work anymore” but researcher Paul Fairie noticed that boomers weren’t the first to use the phrase.
Not even close.
In a recent Twitter thread, Paul compiled newspaper clippings dating back to the 1800s that claim nobody wants to work, and it gives you a real perspective on how, I think Batman was right, you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
