Healthcare in the U.S. is a mess for everyone. Somehow it’s always been worse for folks who really need it. Particularly, those who have a disability. I’ve seen these struggles first-hand with some family members who have to jump through hoops just to get and keep their assistance.
This Tumblr thread explains the struggles disabled individuals experience in America when it comes to getting financial assistance. It’s hard enough to get adequate financial assistance and even harder to keep it. Unfortunately, it seems like it’s designed that way.
