It’s mid-August, and we’ve hit that weird time of year where some kids are already back in school while others are still running around like it’s an endless summer.
It’s kind of like the “soda vs. pop” debate—depends on where you live. (I personally grew up in an area where school started after Labor Day, but my kids always start in mid-August)
As a dad, I’m somewhere in between appreciating the quiet when the kids are out of the house and trying to squeeze in those last bits of summer fun before we’re back to packing lunches and checking homework.
