Internet Roasts Fitness Influencer For Holding “Wellness” Themed Wedding Where She Handed Out Anti-Bloating Pills

Weddings are about love and joy and bringing all the people from different periods of your life together in one place. They are also about eating good food, drinking way too much, and watching Grandma do the electric slide with your old frat bro, Kevin.

Three things they are not about: wellness, vitamin infusions, and working out.

Enter fitness influencer Sam Cutler (@thefitfatale) who recently came under fire for hosting a “health-conscious” wedding complete with anti-bloating pills and a gluten-free, sugar-free cake.

In an attempt to become even more insufferable, the newlyweds followed up their wedding with a “day of wellness” — and yes, it will make your eyes roll so far back into your skull that you may just catch a glimpse at your own brain as it begs you to end its misery.

Loving fitness and wanting to encourage others to do the same is fine. But when #fitlife content creation is so ingrained in your personality that it takes over your wedding, it becomes phony, forced, and holier-than-thou. For most people, your content will go down as easy as a spinach and liver powder smoothie.

Twitter responded in kind to the fitness influencer’s health-conscious festivities, and we’ve gathered some of the funniest responses here.
