If there’s one nice thing about being alive today, it’s that we’re living in arguably the best time for home cooking.
We know more about food safety and not to mention some of the recipes people have come up with. You can do some amazing stuff in your own kitchen nowadays.
Looking back on vintage recipes makes me grateful for things like Hello Fresh and Blue Apron. If they were around 50+ years ago everything would be cooked in a jello mold.
The Cursed Cookbooks Instagram curates the wildest vintage recipes found in old cookbooks and it makes me glad I missed out on this weird era of home cooking.
