Whoever said to “live in the present” must have forgotten how awesome the ’90s and ’00s were because I want to just wrap myself in a blanket of that sweet nostalgia and stay in it forever.
I don’t want to be in the present. I want to be in the before times, where my only worry was whether my Tamagotchi was fed and Ross and Rachel would work things out.
Am I viewing the past with rose-tinted glasses because those were the carefree and comfortable days of my childhood devoid of responsibilities and I now attach those feelings of comfort and security to the media of that time?
Of course I am. Sue me.
