In a surprising turn of events, a woman’s (u/ThrowRA_idkanything) baby decided to make an early debut during what was supposed to be a relaxed girl’s movie night at a friend’s house.
The new mom, who was 36 weeks pregnant at the time, found herself in active labor on her friend Ella’s couch, resulting in an impromptu home birth with the help of EMTs.
While the baby and mom are doing fine, the friend who hosted the night has been distant ever since—going as far as sending the new mom a bill for the sofa. Presumably, she’s upset that the new mom sent her out of the room during the delivery.
Now the new mom is wondering how to patch things up without making things worse and turned to Reddit for advice.
