Remember in the late 2000s and early 2010s when 3D stuff was everywhere? After the first Avatar movie, people were convinced it was the future. Every big blockbuster released a 3D version in theaters. Nintendo made a 3D handheld gaming system. Some people even bought 3D televisions.
But the eye-popping trend didn’t last long. 3D films cost way more to produce and ticket prices reflected that. Plus we realized it made everything kind of blurry. As quickly as it came off the screen and into our lives, 3D went the way of the Dodo.
But this talented muralist is keeping 3D alive. And unlike the ill-fated 3D media craze, no glasses are required.
Street artist Sergio Odeith has amassed over 800,000 Instagram followers by using perspective to make his breathtakingly lifelike murals jump off the wall.
