Oh boy, Elon Musk has done it again—this time by taking “jumping the shark” a little too literally. At a 2024 Donald Trump rally, the Twitter overlord got a bit too hyped and decided to launch himself into the air on stage with his hands raised like he was trying to summon the power of Dark MAGA. Yep, that’s right, in front of a crowd of journalists, Musk went full cringe mode, and proudly declared, “Not just MAGA, I’m Dark MAGA,” because of course he did.
The result? A gloriously awkward photo, snapped by AP photographer Evan Vucci, that quickly became meme gold. People on social media wasted no time Photoshopping Musk mid-leap into everything from iconic movie scenes to totally random scenarios. The internet really never misses when it comes to turning an awkward moment into a meme masterpiece!
