Growing up, Disney felt like actual magic. You’d pop in a VHS, hear that little ding from the castle intro, and suddenly, you were somewhere else—probably crying over Mufasa or deeply relating to Sebastian’s burnout over his job. But somewhere along the way, Disney went from “happiest place on earth” to “please take out a small loan for a day pass.”
Now, instead of wondering what new world they’ll dream up next, we’re all just waiting to see which classic they’ll remake with an unnecessary CGI sidekick.
But no matter how much Disney changes (or how aggressively they try to monetize our nostalgia), one thing stays the same—Disney memes are always top-tier.
Whether they’re roasting live-action remakes, perfectly capturing the essence of childhood trauma via The Fox and the Hound, or just making us rethink what really happened in Beauty and the Beast, they never disappoint.
