When you leave someone a house key while you’re away, you expect them to do a little cleaning, maybe water the plants, and leave things pretty much how they found them.
That’s not exactly how things went for one woman, who agreed — a little hesitantly — to let her mother-in-law tidy up while she and her husband took a short vacation.
What she came back to, though, was something else entirely.
In a story that quickly spiraled from a small favor into a full-blown nightmare, she found her home completely transformed without her permission.
