Dave Contra’s comics are the kind that make you laugh out loud and then immediately question your entire existence. They start off simple enough. A cute little character. A quirky setup. And then suddenly, you’re knee-deep in an emotional spiral about life, death, and whether anything really matters. But in a good way.
The drawings may look light and playful, but the punchlines sneak up on you with some serious emotional weight. There’s always a twist, and it usually hits harder than expected.
