Back in the ’90s, we didn’t have a million streaming platforms or endless YouTube rabbit holes—we had Nickelodeon. And that was enough.
If it was slimy, loud, weird, or yelled “ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK?,” I was 100% tuned in. We didn’t get to pick from 800 shows on demand. We had to show up when it aired or miss it forever.
So yeah, I formed an emotional bond with Stick Stickly, considered the Aggro Crag a legitimate athletic dream, and still quote Rocko’s Modern Life like it’s scripture.
