I come across a lot of funny comics while putting these posts together, but every now and then I find an artist whose work makes me laugh out loud and question reality in the best way.
That’s exactly what happened when I stumbled onto the great comics of Andy Babbitz. He’s a cartoonist based in Los Angeles, and his work is funny, weird, minimalist, and just the right amount of unhinged.
There’s something delightfully silly about the way he delivers a punchline—it feels like a non sequitur that somehow still makes perfect sense. If you like comics that surprise you in the best way, you’re going to love these.
