As a writer and artist, I’ve got a deep appreciation for skill—the kind of craftsmanship that makes you stop and say, “Okay, that took work.” But sometimes, I come across something so wildly unnecessary, so deeply cursed in concept, that I’m left thinking the universal truth: just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.
That’s the beauty of r/ATBGE (Awful Taste But Great Execution). It’s a glorious gallery of creations no sane person ever asked for, made by people with an almost alarming amount of talent. These pieces are technically brilliant, but… you’ll see.
1. I mean, I guess it’s technically an in ground pool.
2. Joe Rogan’s daughter asked for a Sabrina Carpenter cake for her birthday. Haunting.
3. A foot stool.
4. Slug nails.
5. A handy set of silverware.
6. What in the redneck?
7. Imagine what this thing is soaking in.
8. Pig skin tattooed with logo.
9. A computer chair.
10. At least you’ll never forget to brush your teeth.
