"So yesterday I had my first experience with a Gen Z doctor, and if you have not had one yet, brace yourself, cause it is… It's so adorable! Frankly, it's adorable. So, we went to urgent care because I fainted again, and turns out I'm having an… Well, anyway, the story gets complicated from here, but the doctor comes in and she's like, 'Yo, dog!’ Seriously, [she says], ‘Yo, dog! You passed out four times in the past 48 hours. You need to go to the emergency room by ambulance.' That is for verbatim what the doctor said to me. 'Yo, dog, you've passed out four times in the past 48 hours. You need to go to the ER by ambulance.' The hand gestures, everything. She listens super patiently while my millennial boyfriend and I were like, 'we can't afford it...' And then when I told her that we can't afford the ambulance, she's like, 'just don't pay it. What are they gonna do? Just don't pay it.' I, for one, welcome our Gen Z overlords. I loved them when I taught them. I'm excited that they're in positions of power now and are making decisions."

The vibes were chill, the energy was supportive, and suddenly, the comments were full of people sharing similar stories. Turns out, the future of healthcare might just come with emotional intelligence and a really good skincare routine.
