I love video games. I’ve been playing them for most of my life, and like a lot of people, Steam is my go-to platform for buying and playing them.
That said… some of the wild reviews people leave on there make me feel like I’ve only scratched the surface of what it means to be a “gamer.” I’ve never felt compelled to write a 300-word essay about a goose simulator or rate a horror game 10/10 because it made me cry in the shower—but apparently, for some folks, that’s just part of the experience.
