I’m not a dad. Never planned to be. And to be honest, I didn’t grow up with a great example—my own dad bailed when I was four, so I never really saw what being a good father looked like up close.
That’s probably why I’m always a little in awe of the guys out there who show up. The ones who are figuring it out as they go, trying their best, being present, and somehow managing to be both hilarious and wholesome while doing it. These dad memes are for those fathers—the real ones.
No matter if you’re crushing it or just barely holding it together, you’ve got my respect.
