Alison Zai has a special way of making the weirdest feelings feel totally normal. Her comics are funny, a little bit sad, and somehow comforting even when they’re about spiraling into the void.
With simple lines, bright colors, and characters that look like they just woke up in a dream they don’t understand, Zai nails the feeling of being a person in the year 2025.
Her comics don’t try to fix anything, but they do make it feel a little better to be confused, anxious, or completely unbothered for no reason at all.
